Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-26

This policy describes how User Guided LLC, a limited liability company formed in Colorado, United States (“us”, “we”, “our”), handles personal information collected through the userguided.com website (the “Website”) and through any mobile or desktop application we make available (an “Application”). By accessing or using the Website or an Application, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy.

Information we collect

Website. We collect information you submit directly through the Website — typically your name, email address, and any message you send us via a contact form or subscription. We also collect standard web log information (IP address, browser type, pages requested, referring URL, timestamps) and information about your interaction with the Website through cookies and analytics tools, described below.

Application. The content you capture within an Application — including text, audio, photos, video, transcripts, notes, and any derived analysis — is stored locally on your device. We do not receive or store the content you capture. An Application may request device permissions (for example, camera, microphone, photo library, speech recognition, or location) so that a specific feature can operate; each permission is requested at first use and may be revoked in your device settings.

Legal basis (EU/UK). For Website information: consent (for cookies and marketing) and legitimate interests (for site operation, security, and analytics). For Application content: performance of a contract (delivering the functionality of the Application you have chosen to use).

How we use your information

We use Website information to respond to inquiries, deliver services you have requested, operate and secure the site, comply with legal obligations, and, where applicable, send you marketing communications about our services. Content captured within an Application is used only to deliver the features of that Application on your device.

Recipients of your information

Website. We share personal information with vendors that provide hosting, email delivery, and web analytics services on our behalf, and with regulators, law enforcement, or courts where required by law.

Application. By default, content captured within an Application is not shared with anyone. An Application may support optional integrations you can enable — such as third-party AI-processing services, cloud storage services, or operating-system frameworks — using your own credentials or account. When you enable such an integration, your content is transmitted directly from your device to the service you chose, under a direct relationship between you and that provider. We do not act as an intermediary and do not receive that content.

Sale of your information

We do not sell your personal information.

International data transfers

Personal information we handle is processed in Colorado, United States. If you access the Website or use an Application from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to the United States. Our vendors may process data in additional jurisdictions consistent with their own terms and applicable safeguards.

Information retention

Website information is retained for as long as needed to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Content captured within an Application is retained on your device under your control; uninstalling the Application removes its locally-stored content.

Cookies and Analytics

The Website uses cookies to operate the site, remember your preferences, and understand aggregate visitor behavior via Google Analytics. You can opt out of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/ and control cookies through your browser settings.

Do Not Track
